Gerrit Jacob & adidas Unite for Flaming Hot Summer 2023 Collaboration

German-born designer Gerrit Jacob is quickly rising the ranks as one of fashion’s most sought-after new creatives, with the likes of Rosalía and Lil Uzi Vert donning his garments. Stepping forward with global sportswear giants adidas, Gerrit Jacob has unveiled a fiery new look at three collaborative iterations of several signature adidas sneakers.

With this being Gerrit Jacob’s first high-profile collaboration, the Hamburg native could be expected to play a somewhat safe hand with this debut release, but this joint effort with adidas does exactly the opposite. The low-lying silhouette boasts a white leather upper for the base layer, forming the perfect blank canvas for Jacob to go to work, with the up-and-comer splashing the pairs with hand-painted flame-effect spray paint designs, staying in tune with his previously striking work. Arriving in shades of pink, purple, and teal, the different silhouettes each boast the all-over Gerrit Jacob designs, with the Gazelle and Superstar moulds being the standout icons from the drop.
