JW Anderson and the country of Italy continue to grow closer with each passing day as the label announces the opening of its new flagship store in Milan. Located in the heart of the city’s pre-eminent shopping precinct Quadrilatero, the 53 square meter space is divided into two sparsely furnished rooms designed by 6a Architects.
Marrying the brand’s lexicon with the fashion capital’s bourgeois leanings, the store features signature aluminum scaffolding and display structures, a red neon sign on the façade, handmade terrazzo tile flooring, and Walnut fluted panels.
Playfully finished with juxtaposing furnishings including images of Wolfgang Tillmans in the changing room, the JW Anderson Milan flagship store is now open at via Sant’Andrea 16, 20121.
