KENZO Unveils NIGO’s First Sneaker

Since his initial appointment back in 2021, NIGO has yet to release a sneaker silhouette designed by himself at KENZO. Luckily, the wait is over as he unveils the “KENZO-DOME” – a shoe inspired by mid-90s skateboarding culture, with the name alluding to a popular skating location in Paris called the Dôme in Palais de Tokyo.

Arriving in black, tan, white and pink, the uppers are comprised of a full suede – except for the white colourway that comes in grained leather – with minimal branding, a perforated toe box and a gum outsole. Other details include a chunky Nappa tongue with extra padding and “K” embroidery on the heel.
