Having made quite the splash this week, Louis Vuitton’s Resort 2024 collection was full of typically intricate detailing and standout garments, with LV’s footwear often being a main point of interest.
As we begin to hone in on Pharrell Williams’ opening Louis Vuitton collection displaying at Paris Fashion Week later this June, the expectations for LV’s pieces are as high as they have ever been, with many being underwhelmed by what we have seen so far from Pharrell. With this Resort 2024 collection, Louis Vuitton have opted for a ready-to-wear approach to many of these cutting-edge garments, with the central standout from the French fashion house arriving in the form of their ‘Discovery’ boots, which have received a closer look online. The hiking-style standouts debut in three ‘Black’, ‘Brown’ and ‘Navy’ colourways, with central design features including a high-ankle shape, a mixed material suede and TPU upper composition, metallic lacing hooks, a rear heel pull tab, as well as signature hits of “LV” lettering and emblem midfoot branding.
