Wimbledon Goes High-Fashion.
It’s not normally the fashion choices on centre court that steal all the headlines, mostly because of its strict all-white dress code, but times are clearly changing as Italian wunderkind Jannik Sinner took to Wimbledon’s iconic grass court with a one-of-a-kind Gucci duffle bag slung over his shoulder. Custom designed for the tournament emblazoned with his own initials, the statement-making move follows the tennis star’s (and Gucci Ambassador’s) newly-released campaign for the Italian fashion house.
Gucci revealed that the bag was designed to comply with the tournament’s traditional dress code regulations as Sinner cantered into the second round to set up a clash against fellow countryman, Diego Schwartzman.
