Divisive New York-based brand MSCHF have, once again, lived up to their name with yet another tongue-in-cheek footwear release, this time around debuting the AC2 slide.
After a slew of head-turning releases in the past, including the Big Red Boot and Crocs Big Red Boot collaborations, MSCHF have returned for a low-top iteration of one of their more out there silhouettes, shrinking down the previously released AC1 boot. The opinion-splitting pair mimics the shape and design of a medical walking boot, taking direct inspiration through the monochromatic black and grey colour scheme as well as the hardened outer shelling. Alternatively, this low variation features a slip-on shape with a midfoot strapping system for additional support, whilst a grey base colour and foam toes keep their place as MSCHF’s WOWCOMFY! technology adds an extra layer of detail to the pair.
