Luxury Moroccan outfit Casablanca are searching out ‘Love Against War’ with this newest campaign, putting their best foot forward to celebrate vibrancy and youth in Syria.
Taking into account the troubles for Syria in recent years, Casablanca have continued to dedicate various campaigns and collections in the name of good causes, with this newest ‘For The Peace’ collection taking the floor for this ‘Love Against Hate’ FW23′ campaign. Debuted back at Paris Fashion Week, the clothing collection itself looks to show Syrian people “not just existing but living, loving and celebrating.” Coming as a result of a moving personal experience in Damascus, creative director Charaf Tajer felt compelled to tell this important story, being one that could be told “[…] not only from the perspective of shade, but from the perspective of light, of beauty, of art.”
Shot in Beirut, ‘Love Against War’ looks to shine a light on the distinct courage and kindness of humanity and looks to put forward a message of empathy, understanding, and unity., telling the stories of real lives in Syria, where beauty and devastation so often co-exist. The garments on display include a host of silk efforts, such as a standout graphic-print city skyline shirt, signature polo shirts, dresses, blazers, crochet skirts, bags, suiting, and more.
