In the midst of a symphony of collaborative teasers during the Japanese label’s Matrix-esque Fall/Winter 2023 show at Paris Fashion Week, Junya Watanabe sent down a duo of biker-inspired pieces that caught the eye of many. Curated alongside Vancouver’s finest Reigning Champ, the runway designs featured a quilted, synthetic leather Moto Crewneck and a pair of hand-tailored sarouel sweatpants.
