Pharrell Williams’ close-knit association to Moncler continues as he and the French-born luxury outfit unveil a collaborative outerwear collection for the AW23′ season.
Having originally linked up with Moncler back in 2009 and Moncler Genius – Moncler’s sub-label – back in February, as well as facilitating a joint effort with Billionaire Boys Club last month, Pharrell Williams’ tenacity for what’s next is exactly what continues to propel him further into the upper echelons of fashion, with this latest effort taking a luxe approach to outerwear. Preparing us for the colder times ahead, this joint collection centres itself around shades of light and dark green, grey, and off-white, with the act of “glamping” taking the floor through a thorough embrace of the outdoors. Familiar silhouettes and cutting-edge designs co-exist here as down-padded puffer jackets and three-diamond quilted gilets prove to be the central standouts, whilst tastefully shaded multi-pocket zip-up jackets, adaptable trouser-shorts, a duvet-come-cape, a sherpa zip-up fleece, and a fisherman knit jumper compete the roundup.
The Moncler x Pharrell Williams collection will be available to shop in select Moncler boutiques and on Moncler’s website on September 22nd.
