Montreal-based lifestyle brand JJJJound have a distinct affection for the simplistic, and this newest effort with New Balance stays very much in line with their previous track record.
Taking to Instagram to unveil a full look at the new pair, this collaboration follows on from the duo’s vast array of past releases, with New Balance’s 990v3, 990v4, and 992 silhouettes having been some of the standouts. For this newest entry, the 2002R silhouette returns to the spotlight in a typically JJJJound ‘Olive Green’ colourway. Primed and ready for the Autumn/Winter 2023 season, the pair stick to the basics of a general release as the base New Balance structure keeps its place through signature leather “N” midfoot branding, a mixed suede and mesh upper composition, in addition to an Abzorb midsole and off-white laces. Adding their input, JJJJound opt for simple lettering on the tongue as their sole branding choice.
No release date has been set for this pair as of yet, but expect them to drop in the next few weeks. Stay tuned to PAUSE for more information as it arrives.
