Bring on the Elements.
Transitioning your footwear collection into the winter months isn’t always the easiest of ordeals (especially if you’re a white sneaker kinda guy). Not to worry, Kenzo has linked up with iconic British label, Hunter to eradicate any stresses you were having before you ruin those box-fresh kicks as the pair drop a capsule collection just in time for Fall/Winter 2023.
Informed by Artistic Director, Nigo’s love of England and the label’s running ‘East meets West’ narrative, the offering further riffs off the spirit of the Ivy League as a range of high and mid-top silhouettes – inspired by 1960s hunting boots – are explored through a utilitarian lens.
Defined by its hero motifs including the ever-iconic Boke flower and pops of ‘KENZO red’, the capsule’s militarian aesthetics are reflected in its traditional zigzag lacing, exaggerated soles, and cover gaiters.
The Kenzo x Hunter collection ft. the original Wellington boot is now available online.
