London Meets Shanghai with Burberry’s City Experience

By October 20, 2023Fashion News

A taste of London in Shanghai.

Introducing Burberry Rose, the third stop on Burberry Streets – A series of takeovers celebrating the art of discovery and exploration in cities worldwide.

So far, with Burberry’s city-led initiative, we have seen modern British luxury brought to life in groundbreaking ways through the brand’s forward-thinking vision and rich heritage. In addition to their immersive experiences and installations, the brand’s signatures will be highlighted, including knight blue seasonal checks, rose prints, and a newly redesigned Equestrian Knight design.

In Burberry Rose, explore Petal Maze, a space inspired by Daniel Lee’s first collection, featuring the English rose motif. Brought to life using handcrafted sculpted shapes such as petals, stems and leaves, each element embrace and showcase Burberry’s latest Winter 2023 collection.

Fancy Burberry for breakfast? Burberry Rose brings a taste of good ol’ Britain to Shanghai with a pop-up of Norman’s – a North London café renowned for its British cuisine. The temporary space will combine Norman’s signature aesthetic with elements from Burberry’s latest creative expression. A selection of elevated café classics will be served throughout the takeover.

Multiple locations will display symbols of the house. Equestrian Knight flags will fly on Panyu Road. Posters of the Winter 2023 campaign will take to the streets on bus stops and billboards, and buses running through the city centre will be wrapped in Daniel Lee’s rose print.

The series coincides with the highly anticipated launch of Winter 2023, Daniel Lee’s first collection offering for the brand – now available both in store and online, alongside a redesign of its e-commerce website, marking a new era and creative vision for Burberry.

Burberry’s city experience will be available in Shanghai from Saturday 21st October to Sunday 31st December.
