A Classic US Design Gets a UK Update.
American clothing manufacturer Alpha Industries and emerging London-based label PICANTE team up on two iterations of the classic MA-1 bomber jacket, with this collaborative effort marking the cult British brand’s first foray into outerwear.
Alpha Industries’ iconic military flight jacket, initially designed for the US Air Force, is reimagined with a tonal embroidered PICANTE logo on the chest and an oversized chenille patch at the back featuring the PICANTE “Fratelli” logo. Branded blue and red zip tags appear on the sleeve pocket. Arriving in “Midnight Navy” and “Smokey Olive” colourways, the pieces can be reversed to reveal Alpha Industries’ signature orange lining, making it easy to switch up an outfit on a whim.
