Getting back into their artsy bag, Gallery Dept. have made their mark with ASICS once again as the dynamic duo reunite for a collaborative iteration of the GT-2160 sneaker.
With the history of releases between the pair, including joint takes on the Gel-1130 and Gel-Lyte V silhouettes, Gallery Dept. x ASICS has returned for the new season as a messy take on the latter’s GT-2160 sneaker hits the blogs online. Rumoured to being strictly a ComplexCon exclusive pair, the Gallery Dept. x ASICS GT-2160 takes the sportswear giants’ predominantly mesh running sneaker and layers the original silver colour palette with a Damien Hirst-style spotted paint-splatter effect, with blue striping adorning the signature ASICS midfoot branding. Additionally, white laces and a host of co-branded accents on the insole, heel counter, and shoe box provide an extra attention to detail.
Whilst no wider drop date for the Gallery Dept. x ASICS GT-2160 is confirmed, rumours have been circulating regarding a general release. Stay tuned to PAUSE for more information as it arrives.
