Founded in Monestier-de-Clermont, France, Moncler are a brand that historically pride themselves on their ability to perfect outerwear and with Rick Owens, the future is always now.
Linking up for another collaborative effort, Moncler x Rick Owens 2.0 makes sure to keep a cutting edge that both outfits seem to exude at all times, with the futuristic effort seeing a range of pillowy outerwear being shown off amidst a striking background, one that includes a collaborative ‘Sleep Pod’. Acting as an almost tent-like structure, the ‘Sleep Pod’ encapsulates everything that this collaboration suggests by enticing you in with otherworldly shapes and an alien-like edge, giving off an extraterrestrial air. In contrast, overtly soft and cushiony textures inhabit the ‘Sleep Pod’ whilst adorning the actual pieces themselves, drawing you further into the collaborative Moncler x Rick Owens world. The coordinated ensembles seen throughout the campaign imagery include quilted outerwear and lengthened silhouettes, with several puffer, down, and flight jackets working alongside dresses, quilted scarves, skirts, blankets, boots, and more.
