Proving to be one of their most successful collaborations ever, Stüssy have tapped Birkenstock once more as the duo look to replicate the previous success of their Boston Clog release back in 2021.
Having had its prolonged moment in the spotlight this past two years or so, the Birkenstock Boston Clog has well and truly cemented its place as one of the go-to slip-on shoes of modern times, being most trendy fashion fans’ trusty everyday pair. This popularity is partly down to Stüssy’s involvement in 2021, with the tastefully designed triple threat having taken flight during the Covid-19 lockdown and beyond. For AW23′, Stüssy x Birkenstock looks primed to return as the former streetwear titans take to Instagram to debut an official teaser, with this cryptic message displaying a beachside warning sign stating “DO NOT STEP IN THE FIRE PITS” alongside a caution graphic that includes a shoe strikingly similar to Birkenstock’s iconic Kyoto silhouette, suggesting that this sleek shape maybe the next pair to receive a Stüssy-lead makeover.
The latest Stüssy x Birkenstock collaboration is set to release via the Stüssy website on November 24th and via the Birkenstock website on November 27th.
