Fluffy Laces for the Win.
Dior’s main footwear designer Thibo Denis continues to place emphasis on textured lacing through an array of teased Dior footwear, with the newest silhouette seeing a ski-ready silhouette debut.
The rise of fluffy, mohair-like textures on footwear looks set to peak as we head into the new year, with the likes of LOEWE and Marni having been firmly ahead of the curve. Putting forward their own efforts for the winter season, it looks as though Thibo Denis and Dior are primed to release a selection of new Dior skiwear, with a particular focus being placed on footwear here. Arriving in three light brown, tan, and burnt orange colourways, the trio of new releases all stick to the same robust boot silhouette as rich suede uppers contrast with robust matted rubber outsoles and lace loops, whilst additional features include multicoloured mohair laces, heel pull tabs, and Dior lettering on the midsoles and tongues.
