Familiar double act Stüssy x Nike are set for a return to everybody’s winter wardrobe as they team up yet again, this time for a retro reimagining.
Taking on yet another old school silhouette, Stüssy just can’t get enough of Nike’s archives as they link with the sportswear giants for three collaborative iterations of the iconic Air Flight 89 Low sneaker. Debuting in three ‘Pecan’, ‘Habanero Red’, and ‘Black’ colourways, the Stüssy x Nike Air Flight 89 looks set to be one of the duo’s more successful joint efforts in a minute, with positive feedback already rolling in for the upcoming pair. The chunky silhouette features the classic late-’80s basketball stylings, with each colourway boasting faux snakeskin and co-branding on the tongue, wit the midsoles housing Air in the heel to provide comfort-centric cushioning. The trio of sneakers are set to be joined alongside a new slate of collaborative garments, with the duo’s fan-favourite sweatpants returning alongside co-branded hoodies, a red zip-up jacket, and long-sleeve t-shirts and sweatshirts.
