Nigo’s KENZO come off the back of their hit FW24′ show at Paris Fashion Week with a rip-roaring collaboration with footwear brand of the moment, ASICS.
Debuting their trio of Gel-Kayano 20 colourways after a considerable period of waiting, KENZO have finally officially debuted their latest collaboration with ASICS, capitalising on the unparalleled success of the sportswear outfit and their signature ‘runner’ stylings. For this new entry, the duo have combined for three on-trend animal print-inspired Gel-Kayano 20 sneakers, putting forward gender-neutral pairs for elevated – and essential – rotational options. The first take sees shades of silver, gold and white adorn the upper as an underlying tiger-print sits softly underneath, with hits of KENZO and ASICS branding taking their place on the toe and midfoot. Following on, the second pair maintains a similar design style as the co-branded accents remain in position alongside a lime green, blue, and orange colour palette, whilst the final entry takes things in an entirely new direction, boasting a pink, blue, white, green and orange diamond-style patterning across the upper as well as a mesh material for the toe box. As per all ASICS models, GEL cushioning and comfort-centric technology make their mark and make sure to add a sense of familiarity to this exciting new capsule.
