Los Angeles born luxury fashion house AMIRI have enlisted photographer Drew Vickers for their Spring/Summer 2024 campaign, tying in the grandiose settings of Sorrento, Italy.
Utilising the breathtaking setting of Italy’s Amalfi Coast to full effect, Mike Amiri’s AMIRI champion the spirit of travel and discovery for SS24′, depicting a seasonal story of a Californian journeying across Europe, all the while exploring, collecting, and finding inspiration. In truly romantic fashion, a cast of young dreamers embrace their youth and explore hidden coves, striking scenery, and historic architecture before heading out into the great open as they traverse the sea in search of new lands, putting forward palpable themes of optimism and freedom. Mirroring this sentiment, AMIRI’s latest garments put an emphasis on relaxed tailoring and sharp suited looks are made with graphic lines as notions of Americana intertwine with European high-craft. Bringing in that West Coast feeling, relaxed silhouettes lean towards their LA roots through loosely woven leather cardigans, sequin shirts, and heavy cable-knit crewnecks, whilst silk scarves hang freely and studio scraps are carefully hand-sculpted into ornate leather lapel flowers.
