Heritage luxury fashion outfit Maison Margiela make no mistakes with this second collaborative effort alongside eyewear brand Gentle Monster, taking their love for leather to new heights.
Consistently being a cherished part of their aesthetic make-up, leather and Maison Margiela continue their love affair here, with Gentle Monster bringing in their much-loved eyewear shapes to produce a SS24′ ready effort that’s primed for any occasion. The simplistic capsule sees the duo unite for their second collaboration, with the success of their first joint effort holding them in good stead here as various cat-eye, rounded, and wrap-around silhouettes are encased in rich artisanal leather around the entirety of each pair’s surface area, whilst Maison Margiela’s iconic four white stitches sit silently on the temples. With shades of black, white, and baby blue filling out the limited colour scheme, subtle doses of co-branded Gentle Monster x Maison Margiela branding are printed onto the inner temple areas to form a wholly stripped back, yet detailed effort.
The second Maison Margiela x Gentle Monster eyewear collaboration will be available to shop on March 7th.
