Gucci’s much-anticipated Cruise 2025 show is set to come to London later this year as Sabato De Sarno continues his journey with the Italian fashion house.
In a homecoming of sorts, the luxury Italian giants will be returning to London in May 2024 as the Sabato De Sarno-lead outfit put forward their latest effort, debuting their Cruise 2025 effort. Typically straying from all the typical – and more serious – design codes, a ‘Cruise’ collection will be sure to grab the attention of many as anticipation grows for the upcoming collection. Having originally started their story in London in 1897 when a young Guccio Gucci took a job as a luggage porter and lift boy at the city’s exclusive The Savoy hotel, Gucci are making a show of their soon-to-debut collection, with the choice of location paying direct tribute to Gucci’s intimate connection to the British capital and looking to underline how London has played a significant role “in shaping the brand’s narrative throughout its storied history as a world-renowned symbol of Italian craft, visionary creativity, and innovative design.”
