The Big Apple is set to host a multitude of fashion innovators this week, and the unveiling of an opium-driven line by Ksubi in collaboration with rapper Trippie Redd kicked off the festivities.
Ksubi and Trippie joined forces in 2022 to roll out the Australian label’s collab with the late Juice Wrld. Following the success of the capsule, the pair linked up again on a 21-piece collection that was showcased and celebrated amongst New York’s elite along with a handful of music personalities. Ksubi’s explosive presentation garnered RSVPs from the likes of Jim Jones, DD Osama, Michael Rainey Jr, and more.
“When it comes to both music and fashion, I never like to be put in a box. I express myself fully without any boundaries which is why it made sense to link up with Ksubi. I wanted the collection to feel authentically me, and I’m excited to bring new designs to Ksubi that aren’t typically what they’ve done before and to bring that vision to life,” said Trippie Redd on his collection.
The label paired its luxe-rebellious spirit with the enigmatic persona of Trippie Redd, drawing upon punk inspiration as well as Trippie’s distinct iconography. Whilst partying at The Georgia Room, guests were styled in the latest release, soaking up Redd’s creative energy. You can check out images of the event below.
