COMME des GARÇONS’ sub-label, SHIRT, has had its hand in designing an ASICS Gel-Terrain, one of their most comfort and performance-driven silhouettes.
Previous iterations of the Gel-Terrain feature bold colour schemes developed to stand out while trail running or getting in your cardio around the city. The two silhouettes from CDG SHIRT, much like their final collaboration of 2023, feature a monochromatic colour scheme as the joint effort sees all-black and all-white colour schemes that allows the sneaker’s details to pop, from the indentations on the FLYTEFOAM cushioning to a specialised toggle lacing system. CDG SHIRT opted for tonal co-branding around the shoe, subtly located at the tongue along with the sock liner.
At the time of publishing, a worldwide launch for the COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT x ASICS Gel-Terrain has yet to be announced. However, pairs have been popping up online from select Japanese boutique retailers. Continue checking PAUSE online for updates on a global launch date.
