Diesel Loves Lee is Built for Everyone

Mix n Match.

Following a successful regional partnership, Glenn Martens lead Diesel has tapped Japanese denim brand Lee for a four-piece jean collection. The mix-and-match collection is set to drop globally today.

The pair of denim giants set their sights on creating a completely fair collaboration, with each pair of jeans receiving 50/50 brand representation. Four pairs of pants make up the collection, including two straight cuts for men and two boot or flare cuts for women. The jeans have been spliced right down the outer seam, with the front being a pair of Diesel jeans and the back being Lee, or vice-versa.

“It’s easier to create something new than it is to repurpose a garment, especially when customers want it to look exactly like they do online,” said Glenn Martens, creative director for Diesel.

A uniform similarity between all four pairs is the collaborative tag on the upper left side of the rear. A stark white leather piece was sewn into the denim, reading “Diesel Loves Lee” in red font.

Diesel and Lee’s Frankenstein jeans are available today at select stores globally, along with both  respective company websites.
