Belgian born designer Dries Van Noten has announced that he is set to step down as head designer for his namesake brand, Dries Van Noten.
In a letter penned to his adoring fans shared via the official Dries Van Noten Instagram account, the well-established creative declared that he will leave his current role at Dries Van Noten after the presentation of this year’s Spring/Summer 2025 menswear collection. The Spring/Summer 2025 womenswear collection is set to be put together by his studio team, which he declared his full confidence in. Providing some context to his imminent exit, Noten stated that he wanted to “[…] shift my focus to all the things I never had the time for” after 38 years at the helm of his self-founded high fashion outfit. Lastly, Noten unveiled that a decision would be made in the near future in regards to his replacement as head designer for Dries Van Noten.
