Jules Kounde’s tunnel fits before big Barca games have brought a much-needed bit of American sports furore to Europe, with this latest look having pulled absolutely no punches.
Getting ready to start his team’s crucial round-of-16 clash with Napoli, the young Barcelona full-back came through with the utmost confidence and stayed very on-theme with this Champions League themed outfit. Custom-designed by designer Sophie Hird, this look consisted of a custom adidas leather zip-up jacket adorned with black panelling, central “ADIDAS” lettering and striping, as well as multi-coloured orange and yellow patchwork panelling, resembling the colour scheme of this year’s Champions League football. The rest of the look saw Kounde keep it simple as he donned a pair of black flared jeans, black and white loafers, as well as the standout Champions League ball styled holdall bag, which once again matches up with this year’s competition ball through a striking orange and yellow colour scheme in addition to those signature star emblems, being a motif that has become so synonymous with the competition down the years.
