Shoe of the Year?
When thinking about Canada’s own Drake, the first thing that comes to mind probably isn’t his ability to make a good shoe… but don’t get it twisted, he’s got that in his locker too.
Having made the rounds over the weekend, it looks as though Drizzy and his leading streetwear outfit, known as NOCTA, are back at it again with Nike as the NOCTA Hot Step 2 “Total Orange” debuts across the net. Getting his hands on the exclusive sneaker, its the UK’s own streetwear guru Clint 419 that provides the closest in-hand shot of the new release so far, with this pair truly blowing previous efforts out of the water. Doing exactly what its name might suggest, this robust TPU and mesh sneaker utilises a vibrant dose of orange across the entirety of the upper, midsole, tongue, and well, just about everywhere, with a riveted midfoot design contrasting with silky reflective silver adornments – which include a subtle dose of Nike Swoosh detailing. These are continually utilised on the heel and toe area, where another Nike mini Swoosh arrives, whilst the outsole and tongue feature various hits of the NOCTA emblem.
No official release date has been set for this pair so far, but a SS24′ drop is expected. Stay tuned to PAUSE for more information as it arrives.
