Streetwear moguls BAPE and Tokyo born luxury outfit COMME des GARÇONS are back where they left off for 2024 as they return with a new Spring/Summer 2024 capsule collection.
Rekindling their seasonal flame, BAPE x COMME des GARÇONS is a joint partnership that stretches back to 2020, with the duo coming together seasonally since then. As we head into the sunnier months ahead, it’s important that some new streetwear staples come along with it, and BAPE x COMME des GARÇONS delivers in a big way as signature co-branded graphics collide across a selection of classic street and workwear silhouettes. For instance, striped canvas fabrics are utilised for a short and long-sleeved iteration of a classic rain jacket, with a standard co-branded patch sitting pretty on the chest along with snap buttons and a turtleneck shape. Other boxes are ticked through a matching pair of striped shorts, a workwear shirt boasting enlarged “A BATHING APE” and “COMME des GARÇONS ” lettering, in addition to two graphic t-shirts, the first of which brandishes a blue colour scheme layered on top of a large A BATHING APE logo, whilst the second opts for a more simplified triple ape graphic in pink.
The BAPE x COMME des GARÇONS Spring/Summer 2024 collection will be available to shop on April 13th.
