Cillian Murphy & Anne Hathaway Lead the Way in Versace’s Icons Campaign

A-list actors Cillian Murphy and Anne Hathaway are the latest stars to be enlisted by luxury Italian mainstays Versace for their new Icons campaign.

Shot by iconic fashion photographers Mert & Marcus, this newest selection of imagery from Versace looks to define the true meaning of icon, tapping recent Oppenheimer (2023) Oscar-winning Cillian Murphy and 2013 winner Anne Hathaway to do so. Donatella Versace’s typically bold approach to styling and presentation shines through here as the stars – and the respective Versace garments – are put front and centre, with a plain black and white background narrowing focus. Cillian Murphy encapsulates this forward approach as he poses for the camera expertly, all the while donning a range of essential Versace pieces, which include everything from summer-ready tank tops, leather boots, long trench coats, and signature Medusa-buckled belts to long-sleeve knitted polo shirts, Barocco-printed scarves, and pleated suit trousers. On the other hand, Intersellar (2014) heroine Anne Hathaway steals the show as per usual, being snapped in strong leather dominated ensembles – including a leather corset dress – gold-accented bags, gold-buttoned coats, and black calf-length boots.
