A Much-Anticipated Return.
Youthful streetwear outfit Awake NY are running it back with Nike’s Air Ship model as the Instagram account turned clothing brand reintroduce the previously released effort with some new campaign imagery.
Having previously dropped the pair earlier this year, Awake NY and Nike are capitalising on the popularity of their collaborative Air Ship sneaker and apparel collection with a restock of the classic pair, debuting a new dose of campaign imagery that features rapper and friend of Awake NY, Joey Bada$$. Naturally leading the way is the Air Ship PE sneaker, a pair that leans on classic stylings with modern twists as a stark red accents the snakeskin ankle and lining of the main silver Nike Swoosh, whilst a white leather composition, an aged cream midsole unit, and an Awake NY “A” lateral forefoot logo complete the retro entry. Additionally, the apparel that arrives alongside the sneaker includes a standout co-branded patchwork black and red leather snakeskin varsity jacket and an acid-effect flannel shirt boasting a collaborative Awake NY x Jordan logo on the back.
