No Cap.
New Era Cap has appointed former DKNY and Public School designer Dao-Yi Chow as their creative director. Along with his appointment, Chow will be spearheading Brand New Era, the brand’s first namesake apparel line.
“Dao-Yi’s unparalleled creativity and passion for sportswear makes him the perfect fit to lead our brand to the next level of product evolution. With his vision and leadership, we are ensuring our commitment to remain squarely at the intersection of sport, fashion, and culture, while staying true to our rich heritage,” said President of Global Brand, Jim Grundtsich.
The native New Yorker spent his early days heading Sean John in 2008, before heading off to help his fellow co-founder Maxwell Osborne develop Public School. Since then, Chow has worked with the likes of DKNY, along with a recent partnership with Jens Grede to help launch Tom Brady’s signature performance line.
No information is available pertaining to when Chow’s first Brand New Era collection will drop. Keep it PAUSE for any further updates.
