The New Balance 2002R Protection Pack is one of the most accessible series of sneakers for fashion lovers. They offer a big enough deviation to stand out, but enough accessibility to feed the masses. Just the other day, New Balance took their prized creation to another level, giving it the convertible treatment and naming it the M2002NA Clog.
We’ve seen sneakers turned into loafers all spring long, but these take the trend to a different level. Sitting above the comfortable sole unit is a textured, torn-up upper offering glimpses of perforated suede and mesh. The colour scheme, dubbed “Raincloud,” features grey hues and the same colour blocking as the original Protection Pack. A fitted tongue has been applied in the absence of a lacing unit, and New Balance branding can be found in a trio of logos.
