After a considerable waiting period, the latest collaborative effort between UK musician and multi-faceted creative Skepta and sportswear titans PUMA is here as they officially debut the “Skope Forever” sneaker and apparel collection.
Being announced as a PUMA brand ambassador way back in 2022, it was many people’s expectation that Skepta would quickly become one of the brand’s notable selling points, especially to the youth of today, and those people were most definitely right. Unveiling his inaugural collaborative collection, the co-designed “Skope Forever” collection looks to encapsulate Skepta’s unique aesthetic, imitable sense of style, and eye for design, with this action-ready capsule utilising a stealthy colour palette whilst championing tactical materials, like premium nylon.
Dropping into the PUMA archives, the star of the show is no doubt the brand new “Skope Forever” silhouette, which is inspired by early-00s footwear designs and makes its special debut in an iridescent colourway. The pair’s composition consists of a robust foundation tooling for the upper and a mesh underlay wrapped in fluid multi-coloured opalescent panels, whilst various silver accents across the pair contrast with the iridescent stylings. A special PUMA x Skepta tongue badge completes the soon-to-release pair, rubber-stamping this notable collaboration.
An extensive range of apparel also makes its long-awaited debut, with this uniformed range consisting of the PUMA x Skepta Track Jacket and Track Pants, which takes direct inspiration from PUMA’s T7 tracksuit, a tailored technical vest with concealed pockets, as well as a matching black-on-black backpack.
The Skepta x PUMA “Skope Forever” capsule will release on May 18th via the PUMA website.
