Tim Hortons Celebrates National Donut Day with adidas Samba Collaboration

Born in Canada.

Multinational coffee house and restaurant Tim Hortons delve into the world of sneakers for their newest creative adventure, debuting a celebratory sneaker capsule alongside adidas Originals.

In celebration of National Donut Day, a staple of the Tim Hortons menu, the heritage food spot are pushing the boat out that bit further for this year as the outfit pay homage to some of their heritage flavours, dressing up a range of the ever-popular adidas Sambas.

Staying close to home, Tim Hortons have employed renowned sneaker industry mainstay and customiser Jack Nguyen to design this capsule, tapping into a plethora of flavours (if you’ll pardon the pun) and colourways by utilising Tim Hortons’ own Boston Cream, Vanilla Dip, Honey Cruller and Double Chocolate donuts. Getting into the pairs, the Vanilla Dip iteration opts for a tongue-in-cheek approach as shades of tan and brown hit the suede upper and multi-coloured sprinkles fall on the heel counter and tongue, whilst the the Double Chocolate keeps it simple in a totally brown colourway. The final two pairs include the Boston Cream, which makes its way in darkened tan and brown suede along with cream accenting, and the Honey Cruller take, which arrives in a soft golden tan leather. As expected, each pair boast co-branded Tim Hortons and adidas Originals Samba insignias on the tongue label, with gum outsoles keeping some uniformity.

Being a Canada exclusive, the Tim Hortons x adidas Originals Samba collection will be available via raffle today, June 7th.
