Irish whiskey giant Jameson kicked off its “Distilled Sounds” program earlier this week. The new initiative connects musicians from all over the globe allowing them to collaborate, create, and perform fresh music for fans. Known for their history of supporting musicians, Jameson has partnered with the hugely successful Anderson .Paak, famous for working with artists like Bruno Mars and A$AP Rocky.
The inaugural Jameson “Music Distiller,” will collaborate with over 20 artists from around the world. From India to South Africa, the USA to Malaysia, these artists will come together to create unique music that blends their diverse styles. Multi-Grammy winner and renowned collaborator (Silk Sonic, NxWorries), Anderson .Paak will partner with Jameson’s global family. Together, they’ll create a unique program focused on blending musical styles from around the world, featuring established artists, up-and-coming talents, and even some fresh faces. “I’m going to be meeting, teaching and supporting a load of great artists and cannot wait to share what we make. It’s all about the connection man! Countries around the world have such exciting music scenes, you really want to bring them together and create something new, for the fans. ” .Paak says in a statement.
With an ethos that focuses on creating a sense of community, Jameson is a brand with a big global family, united by their shared love of life. Their “Distilled Sounds” program reflects this perfectly. By bringing together artists from all over the world, breaking down barriers and letting them collaborate, regardless of their musical style. Whether it’s Afro-beats or K-pop, Amapiano or French rap, this mixing of genres is a goldmine for creativity, and something that excites artists eager to push boundaries. “Jameson Distilled Sounds is a commitment to bring our family of artists and musicians together to collaborate and produce new music, at our ‘Sound Distillery’. Jameson Distilled Sounds will connect our music family from all over the world who share the same spirit.” Comments Joao Rozario, International Marketing Director for Jameson.
Jameson celebrates the launch of Distilled Sounds with a four-minute short film, featuring Anderson .Paak , playing himself and the host of a wacky radio station, JJ Smoove 178.0 (DJ Pee Wee). The film, directed by Glenn Kitson, takes place in the legendary 64 Sound Studio in Los Angeles. Fans will enjoy seeing the energetic .Paak interact with his cynical alter ego, as they discuss the Distilled Sounds program and the magic that sparks when musicians from different genres collaborate.
