Rather casually, it looks as though renowned British-Nigerian artist Slawn has confirmed an upcoming collaboration with streetwear titans Supreme.
Yes, you heard that right, everybody’s favourite modern artist Slawn – also known as Olaolu Slawn – is set to join forces with Supreme for a new collaborative capsule. Whilst we expect Supreme to take the lead in relation to garment choices and product selection, there is no doubt that Slawn’s now iconic graffiti mural stylings will inform the design codes of the capsule. Despite little being known about the unconfirmed collaboration, Slawn took to social media to share a sneak peek at one of Supreme’s most decorated pieces: the Box Logo – or “Bogo” – t-shirt. Even getting Central Cee in on the act, the simple but effective piece has been snapped in two black and grey colourways, with Supreme’s signature box logo seeing a multicoloured caricature graffiti styling colour in the background of Supreme’s iconic white typeface.
No official confirmation has been released for this collaboration as of yet, but stay tuned to PAUSE for more information as it arrives.
