Joe Freshgoods Begins Rollout for Upcoming New Balance 990v6 Capsule

Chi-town’s own Joe Freshgoods undoubtedly leads the way when it comes to New Balance’s collaborative ventures, with the unbounded creative keeping his vibrant expressions alive with another collaborative project alongside the global sportswear titans. 

Continuing to lay out his master plan, Joe Freshgoods has taken to social over this past week to share some sneak peek imagery of his latest effort alongside New Balance, with the 990v6 being the sneaker of choice for the SS25 season. Set to be unveiled at an art exhibition in Paris next week – titled “A Friend Named Cousin” – Freshgoods is looking to get in and amongst the Olympics furore with this newest capsule, debuting two new red and blue entires. The monochromatic pairing feature the heritage New Balance 990v6 shape, being a typically chunky silhouette, with robust midsole units being painted in the stark red and blue that is seen respectively across the rest of the two pairs. Of course, Joe Freshgoods branding embeds itself into the heel and tongue, with tonal laces, central New Balance “N” midfoot branding, and a darkened lace lock keeping the colour schemes going.

Joe Freshgoods’ “A Friend Named Cousin” art exhibition will take place between July 26th and July 30th in Les Filles du Calvaire, Paris. Stay tuned to PAUSE for more information regarding the New Balance 990v6 capsule release date.
