Louis Vuitton keep their foot on the pedal for SS25 as Pharrell continues to champion menswear with a new formalwear collection.
Keeping a sophisticated tone, Pharrell and Louis Vuitton follow up last week’s unveiling of their Fall/Winter 2024 collection with a return to classic form, with this 18-look collection traversing an array of looks. Staying true to pre-established formalwear design codes, the humble double-breasted coat is championed here alongside more expressive cardigans, straight-leg suit trousers, scarves, leather and shearling jackets, leather goods, footwear and more, with the not-so-humble Louis Vuitton monogram pattern also being on full display. A brand new LV Cursive signature is utilised across the collection as gold scribbling adorns suits and cardigans, whilst a Sac Plat zip-bag, an Avenue Messenger, backpacks, clutch bags and more opt for LV’s more “out there” design styles. Some highlights include a striking blue three-piece velvet tuxedo, a frilled khaki and white “LV” scarf, as well as a floral gold scribble cardigan in black.
Louis Vuitton’s SS25 formalwear will be available to shop on August 29th.
