Fashion footwear retailer schuh has partnered with London-based vintage and reworked clothing brand Vintage Threads to launch a distinctive collaboration. The limited-edition schuh x VT Rework collection features footwear made from pre-loved materials, reflecting both brands’ commitment to promoting a circular fashion industry.

Vintage Threads, founded in 2016, is renowned as one of Europe’s leading premium vintage and reworked clothing retailers, with locations in Covent Garden, Soho, and Selfridge’s. The brand’s VT Rework department, established in 2019, champions a zero-waste mission by transforming vintage garments into unique, one-of-a-kind pieces.

In October 2019, schuh introduced the Sell Your Soles scheme, encouraging customers to donate unwanted shoes at any schuh store. This initiative, in partnership with textile reuse experts Recyclatex, operates across all 122 schuh stores in the UK and Ireland. For every tonne of shoes collected, Recyclatex donates funds to schuh, which are then contributed to the sustainability charity World Land Trust.

Purchasing from the schuh x VT Rework collection supports a meaningful cause, as all profits are donated to the World Land Trust. This effort not only reinforces schuh’s dedication to a circular economy but also directly supports the vital conservation work of the World Land Trust.

The collection has moved from Oxford St to Manchester and is available to view now.
