Kody Phillips Launches First Instalment of FW24 Collection “Clams”

By August 30, 2024Fashion News

Timeless Approach.

New York based clothing designer Kody Phillips is dropping the first instalment of his 2024 fall collection, titled Clams.

Growing up in Ohio, Phillips has seen his brand expand from a print and press operation to pure cut and sew. His most nightmarish designs have been seen on the likes of Drake and Chance the Rapper, driving the brand forward with his eccentricity. His latest collection includes all of the pieces he’s been blasting over his social media over the last few months from his Rip Van Kody trousers to his Lasso shirts.

The Rip Van Kody’s are pure Phillips, featuring pockets in abundance, zippers at every nook and cranny along expandable zippers at the lower leg crease. His Lasso shirt features a 90s neck line with hidden fasteners for a seamless look at the front. The structure is cropped and boxy, cut on brand for menswear trends this year. Double Knees are the last addition to the lineup, with structured padding from mid quad to lower leg, a carabiner secured to the belt loops and added material for flow.

The garments drop today with the Rip Van Kody’s launching in Midnight, Green and Mud, the Lasso shirts in Black Classic, White Classic, Ivory/Black, Blue Striped, and the Double Knees in both Green and Black. Check out campaign imagery below, modelled by Frugal Aesthetics.
