Luxury contemporary outfit Solid Homme have struck gold with their latest capsule collection, teaming up with designers Jake Burt and Stefan Cooke for a new elevated take on the everyday.
Curating a well-rounded and succinct collection here, youthful Youngmi Woo born Solid Homme takes a 2000s Americana aesthetic and runs with it, making sure to champion noticeable design features whilst simultaneously making them a subtle adornment to flexible heritage silhouettes, looking to fashion scenes in Maine and New York for inspiration.
A central design style of the capsule like collection is a set of expertly utilised white enamelled studs, which instil a much needed dose of texture – especially when considering the range’s dedication to replicating the more emboldened 2000s Americana look. Taking to the hoods and chests of sun-faded distressed hoodies, a slouchy yet tailored denim vintage fade denim jacket and jeans co-ord, as well as a signature workwear coach jacket, these simple yet effective studs layer themselves across the majority of the collection, with alternate pieces offering up something even more stripped back. A grey boxy jumper boasting cargo pocketing on the arms joins a pair of black studded jeans, a cropped black leather police jacket, and a shearling-lined black leather saddle bag to complete the range.
