Despite having had his much-anticipated pre-match fits taken away from him in recent months, Barcelona footballing star Jules Koundé is still finding away to scratch that fashion itch, teaming up with France’s Jacquemus for a new campaign.
After weeks of rocking up in a standard Barcelona training tracksuit (thanks, Hansi Flick,) Jules Koundé is back to putting it on in the ways only he knows best, officially joining forces with Jacquemus for yet another tongue-in-cheek campaign. Titled “AT HOME WITH JULES,” Jacquemus’ newest effort puts the French right-back at the forefront of things, being set in the foreground of some luxurious homely grounds – which are both real and fake – in some of Jacquemus’ newest gear. From a striking yellow cuban-collar shirt, a stripy Jacquemus tie, and zebra-print loafers to red pleated trousers, leather holdall bags, and more, Jacquemus’ upcoming Fall/Winter 2024 collection – which showed in Capri, Italy back in June – is the star of the show here alongside Jules Koundé. The young sportsman takes to some of the brand’s fun-loving viral escapades with ease, roaming around in a car far too small for him, wearing grassy knee-high boots, sitting atop a mass of varied luggage, and hoovering up a patch of his lawn.
