KENZO By NIGO Unveil Fall/Winter 2024 Collection

KENZO has launched the campaign for Nigo’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection, titled “Landing in a New World.”

The campaign showcases Japanese-inspired sci-fi uniforms, including a kimono coat reminiscent of a warrior’s cape, a weave pattern that echoes the print of a traditional Japanese hakeshi baten fireman’s jacket, and a pleated dress draped like the cloak of a space-themed heroine.

Drawing inspiration from George Lucas’ adaptation of Akira Kurosawa’s samurai films for the Star Wars universe, the campaign’s visuals celebrate the hand-painted aesthetics of the space opera’s sets and its vibrant lighting.
