A Meeting of Minds.
LA-based menswear outfit Nahmias continue to champion meaningful narratives with this latest creative escapade, heading across the pond for a new collaboration alongside Amsterdam’s own FOUR.
Coming together for a curated seven-piece capsule collection, Nahmias x FOUR proves to be a combination of various sub-cultural groups, with the free-spirited skate and surf scenes imbedded in Nahmias’ west coast upbringing being conjoined with FOUR’s deep-rooted love for streetwear. The limited selection of pieces traverses everything from outerwear and trousers to co-branded graphic t-shirts, looking to bridge the gap between the USA and Europe by acting as a celebration two vibrant cultural hubs, placing a special focus on premium quality.
The range of pieces, which are crafted in limited quantities, include premium outerwear, trousers, and t-shirts that fall in line with both Nahmias’ and FOUR’s lineage of oversized, relaxed designs, with this paying direct homage to skateboard culture while embracing the sophistication of urban luxury. Some standouts from the collection include a grey zip-up hoodie adorned with bold blue Nahmias x FOUR front and back branding, a quilted black jacket, as well as a simple but effective co-branded graphic t-shirt. Oversized cuts and constructed fabrics dominate this collection, offering up versatility and a distinct sense of dressing ease, underling the ethos’s of both entities.
In respective statements about the collaboration, Jordi Chris – co-founder at FOUR Amsterdam – and Doni Nahmias -founder of Nahmias – had this to say:
“This capsule perfectly embodies the synergy between Los Angeles and Amsterdam, two cities that are different yet share a common love for individuality and street culture. We’re thrilled to bring this unique vision to life.” – Jordi Chris.
“Skateboarding has always been a part of my life and my creative process. This collection is a tribute to that culture, and working with FOUR has allowed us to elevate these influences into something truly special.” – Doni Nahmias.
