Italy’s own Stone Island continue to be the special jewel in New Balance’s crown as the duo reconnect for a new collection.
Kicking things off back in 2021, the three years since that debut entry has seen Stone Island x New Balance go from strength to strength, continuing to push each other into uncharted territory as we head further into 2024. For this newest collaboration, footwear is once again the foundation of the range, with three iterations of New Balance’s 991V2 silhouette getting the block colour treatment, debuting in three colourways inspired by Stone Island’s camouflage-centric “Ghost” range. Shared via social media, campaign imagery sees three triple black, white, and khaki green takes on the 991V2 take the floor, boasting everything from signature nubuck and synthetic leather overlays, a mesh upper, a ridged ‘N’ logo, and a translucent outsole with a visible Stone Island Compass logo to a typical felt Stone Island Compass logo tongue patch, comfort lining, semi-translucent ABZORB SBS midsole detailing, and a full-length FuelCell midsole.
The Stone Island x New Balance 991V2 collection will release on September 26th.
