It has been announced that Missoni has appointed Alberto Caliri as their new creative director, a position he formally took interim charge of back in 2021.
In a quick turnaround, current creative director Filippo Grazioli has announced that he is set to step down from his position following the presentation of the brand’s SS25 collection, looking to “pursue new creative and artistic challenges, the house said in a statement this morning. Caliri’s previous work with Missoni was as their design director, having been a true veteran of the fashion house over the years. Stepping into the interim creative director role back in 2021, Caliri came in to replace Angela Missoni – the daughter of the founder – due to a restructuring process, and it seems as though he left an impression.
