For Fall 2024, Les Benjamins, guided by the creative vision of Bünyamin Aydin, sets out on a modern journey through Eastern storytelling, presenting its collection in Istanbul. This new line explores the deep roots of Turkish punk, blending traditional elements with contemporary designs while honouring the iconic Tünay Akdeniz, a key figure in Turkey’s punk movement of the 1970s.
Entitled “Eastern Punk”, the collection intricately combines history and defiance, interlacing the rich fabric of Turkish culture with the raw essence of punk. It draws from elaborate patterns and ancient narratives embedded in Turkish heritage, infusing them with the dynamic spirit that lies at the heart of punk.
