Noah x Barbour FW24 Takes it Back to the Archives

By November 5, 2024Fashion News

From Across the Pond.

British-born Barbour are teaming up with New York’s own Noah for an “across the pond” collaboration, uniting for their fifth collaboration.

Looking back into the archives for this latest joint effort, Noah x Barbour FW24 blends together the latter’s rich history and archive with Noah’s one-of-one take on heritage menswear textiles. Looking to the 1980s for inspiration, the Barbour Bedale Wax and the Barbour Border Wax both feature prominently within this collection, with the former unisex style being inspired by Barbour’s most loved jacket. Composed with a new Casentino wool fabrication – a historic fuzzy textile dating back to the 14th century –  this new outerwear entry provides a refreshed version of a classic, being put forward in colourways of “Black,” “Dark Green,” and “Tangerine.” The Noah x Barbour Border Wax jacket delves into the rebellious stylings of New York street style, boasting a Donegal Tweed wool composition made up of a black base as well as various flecks of rainbow colouring. The Barbour x Noah Cotton Bedale utilises a lighter cotton canvas and is salt-washed for a time-worn patina, being available in “Black,” “Pomegranate,” and “Green.”

Noah’s founder, Brendon Babenzien, stated the following about the new collaborative collection:

“For this season’s Barbour collaboration we stuck to the classic jacket shapes we’ve always loved from them. We used some of our favourite fabrics like Casentino Wool, Donegal Wool, and Cotton Canvas that feel right for the season. We always aim for materials that are tough and built to last. Barbour jackets, more than any other, have a timeless quality that allows them to get passed down from one generation to the next.”

The Noah x Barbour FW24 collection is available to shop now.
