New Balance Made in the UK has unveiled a brand new silhouette titled the Allerdale, blending the brand’s walking shoe heritage with a more formal approach.
Blending design cues from a few other popular New Balance silhouettes, the sneaker has been launched in a chocolate brown leather upper with a black cupped sole. With heavy-duty stitching and a rugged hiking-inspired thread, the shoe has truly been developed for city stepping and adventurous morning walks.
“This is a new market opportunity for New Balance, one which looks beyond only retro running by capitalising on a shift towards a more formal and tailored approach to fashion. A cleaner, stripped-back silhouette with a focus on premium materials that are already synonymous with Made in UK production,” says Creative Design Manager, Sam Pearce.
The New Balance Allerdale in brown leather is set to launch on the NB website next week, hitting the site on March 20th. Check out the campaign imagery below.
